On November 26, 2021, a medical expert team from the sixth batch of the People's Liberation Army of China to assist the 103rd Hospital of the Lao People's Army arrived in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, to start a six-month medical aid mission. To enhance the medical standards of the 103rd Hospital, Xijing Hospital of Air Force Medical University and Shaanxi Ruiyi Medical Technology Co., Ltd. have joined hands to build the first digital medical center in Laos. They donated two 3D printers, consumables and a batch of exquisite 3D printed medical models to the 103rd Hospital. Professor Fu Jun from the Department of Orthopedics of Xijing Hospital, a member of the sixth batch of hospital teams, provided relevant technical training for the staff of the 103rd Hospital.
